Inauguration day.... Wow what a historic day. I found this pic on Facebook/New York times and wanted to post it. I loved watching the ceremonial aspects of this day...to see so many living presidents and what they all do and have done for our country is amazing. I was really happy to see that when I dropped Ben off at Kindergarten his teacher had the tv on. I know that in the years to follow he will learn and remember that he saw this historic day on tv. When I picked up Ben from school he wanted to be a fire-fighter in our backyard. I think he watered every inch of the grass.

and a very cute little swimmer boy.

Little frog..."springy cookie" went to heaven and now he is resting in our backyard.

warm weather fun...

It has been in the mid 80's the last two days. This afternoon we met friends at a park in Rancho San Diego. With this weather, I had planned on them getting wet. We picked up popsicles to share.

He has such wonderful teeth. Great spaces & no cavities. He is definitely waiting to loose his 1st tooth. Dr. Sossa, the dentist says that within the next 6 months the bottom two will come out. UGH. Not something I am looking forward to.

Sunflowers

I bought this sunflower and it hangs on the fence out back right outside the sliding glass door. My grandfather used to grow sunflowers at his home. It makes me smile and think of him when I look at this.

Ben recieved a Target gift card from one of his great aunts and we went shopping today. He was thrilled to see Baukugans back on the shelf. Can we say sold out during the month of December!

Silver Safari... My friend Ellens sister has a new Etsy shop. She made me a few necklaces/keychains to give as gifts this Christmas and they were adorable. She made me a charm bracelet and necklaces and I received my ohhh so cute keychain as a gift. Thank You... I love your creativity.

We drove home today and got home in plenty of time to see all of this playoff game. Sorry about the awful picture, but the results are the same. The yelling and screaming out of pure excitement freaked my child out. Chargers winning in OT = Benjamin crying. Too loud he says.
