I took the kids to the park today. Grampy's 70th birthday is right around the corner.

I was hoping to get a pic of the three of them to blow up and frame. What else would a

grandparent want for their birthday, but a picture of their wonderful grandkids?!?!?

I love to add cilantro to my salad. I so excited that this is growing and will be ready soon. Fresh herbs. How fun to have them in my backyard. We are also growing basil.

Benjamin and Daddy went to the movies today. They saw UP. Said it was a great movie... Ben came home recieting lines. So cute.

Ben is like me ~ needing instant gratification. He could not wait. He wanted to see what our carrots are looking like. Definitely a little early. But feels good to see things growing.

Benjamin and Jeff went fishing today at Lake Jennings. This fish was a combined effort. Jeff sent this picture to me on his cell phone (sorry for the quality). They had a great morning and mommy got to sleep in! YAY!

After school bike riding. Ben and his friend "N" like to ride their bikes around the Kennedy Center.
I was told these are magnolias. These beautiful trees are throughout the park.

The weather has been so nice lately ~ we have been out in the backyard a lot. The tomato's are beginning to grow!
Benjamin picked out this birdhouse at Michaels one afternoon and today he decided he was ready to paint it. He stacked the bricks and added the bird seed. He takes after his Great Grandpa.

I went to school to do some picture projects in two of the kinder classes. The end of the school year is right around the corner. It has been a wonderful year for Ben. We could not have asked for a better teacher. He has learned sooo much, it has been such a neat thing to watch. He is writing, reading, doing more math than I would have thought. We are so proud of our son.
